I cannot recommend Mr Matthew Potter highly enough. In February, I underwent surgery to remove a pleomorphic adenoma that was sitting directly on my left facial nerve. Naturally, I was extremely anxious about the operation and the potential risks. Mr Pry Silva, my wonderful ENT surgeon, invited Mr Potter to join the surgical team because of his expertise in facial reconstruction and I feel incredibly fortunate that he did. Mr Potter used a facelift incision to access the tumour, leaving an almost invisible scar and transplanted tissue from my scalp to reduce the risk of Frey’s syndrome and preserve the natural contour of my face. The result is extraordinary. Only a few months later, the scars have virtually disappeared and nobody would ever know I had undergone surgery. What impressed me just as much as the surgical outcome was the care I received. Following an unexpected post-operative bleed, Mr Potter came in over the weekend to see me. His kindness, reassurance and commitment was above and beyond anything I could have expected. From my first consultation through to my aftercare, I have felt completely supported. I will always be grateful to both Mr Pry Silva and Mr Matthew Potter. Not only did they successfully remove a tumour from one of the most delicate areas of my face, they did so with exceptional skill, kindness and compassion. The surgical outcome has far exceeded my expectations and I feel extraordinarily fortunate to have been in their care.

Dr Potter was my surgeon to excise a malignant melanoma from my neck. It was a 10hr operation that was 100% successful. Dr Potter’s follow up care was ideal and comforting. I count myself to be very fortunate to have had him as my surgeon. The scarring was minimal and not noticeable to anyone except myself.
